Be Careful What You Look At Everyday

I bought this large painting at Pier 1 in Los Angeles to connect me with the trees & forests I missed. It hung in my bedroom over my writing desk for many years. I loved it. Sadly, I couldn’t bring it to Oregon. No room left, so I gave it away, reluctantly.

But when I drove down the street to my new apartment in Oregon last May, I suddenly realized I was looking at this picture! The small road was lined on both sides by beautiful green deciduous trees like in my painting! I didn’t need the painting anymore. It was here! In living color! 😊❤️

Did that picture somehow subconsciously lead me here? Reminds me of Mary Poppins where they go into Burt’s chalk drawings. 😊

This image of Oregon I looked at all year as I prepared to return to Oregon to remind me where I was going. Stay on the path. Keep rowing the canoe. More will be revealed… and look what happened! I live in a lovely place in Oregon now, like I wanted & dreamed & worked for, one step at a time!

I looked at a photo of this couch in a Pier 1 catalog. I put it on the back of my bedroom door after I moved into a separate bedroom. This represented my hope of how I wanted to live. After I left my husband & moved into my own place, I went to Pier 1 & found this sofa and bought it. 😊

My kids, I wanted a boy & a girl & that’s what I got!

I looked at this picture every morning when I got out of bed. It hung on the wall over my chest of drawers. I had a son first, then two miscarriages, and then finally a daughter!

So, be careful what you look at everyday. You might get it. 😊
