Feb 14, 2025 – The day started sweet with a loving Valentine’s Day message from a far away old friend.

I thanked her & then sent a text message to my adult daughter who lives in another state. I wished her a lovely day & told her I loved her. She replied with a ❤️
A few minutes later she texted me, “Trump just fired me!”

All new provisional federal employees with US Fish & Wildlife Service were immediately “terminated” and their computers shut down within an hour. What a gut punch.
It was her dream job working as a biologist on a wildlife refuge. She worked long and hard to get her Masters in Resource Management and a year later finally got hired by US Fish & Wildlife. It was hard rugged work, but she loved the job and the people she worked with. Now the job was suddenly gone. Her boss called to reassure her this had nothing to do with her work performance. They didn’t want to lose her. They were already short staffed due to previous cuts. Her boss said they were going to fight this illegal termination. All her co-workers were very upset this happened and didn’t want to see her go.

We need to stand up to this hostile attempt to take over our government. This is not making things better for Americans. It’s making things much worse, while the billionaires get richer and richer.

One way you can stand up is to call or email your two US Senators and your US House Representative and tell them you want them to protect the US Constitution & the rule of law. Tell them you do not want a dictator or an oligarchy of billionaire kings. Contact your state & local leaders too.
Get the app “5 Calls” to easily connect with your Senators and Representative.

I also invite you to join me & many others in boycotting businesses owned by billionaires who have funded & supported this wannabe dictatorship. Bye-bye Amazon and Tesla.

And, I think we Americans have to take some responsibility for the fact that we have taken our rights & freedoms & the rule of law for granted. We think politics is boring and has no impact on our lives. Many Americans don’t even vote.
Until one day, like for my daughter and thousands of others, politics becomes personal.

Hi Linda, So sorry to hear that she has been fired (from the job she loved so much,) by the Felon of the UN-united states, and his Muskrat sidekick! The atrocities being perpetuated by these sick & cruel despots continue to rise, taking with them billions of stolen money, jobs and security! I pray that our falling democracy holds up long enough to purge them from our midsts, and may they be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law – no mercy this time!! I am making calls, writing letters, and praying everyday, for our world to right itself!
My best to you, Love,Carol
